Confusion species
Many species of Phyllonorycter are extremely similar, great care should
be given when separating these species. It is often impossible to
separate the adults of some species.

Foodplant
Rowan, bird-cherry and whitebeam.
Lifestage data
Leaf miner. Eggs laid on underside of leaf. Larva forms a gallery along
the midrib or leaf edge. Pupates in a strong whitish cocoon in the mine. |
